API Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These API Terms govern your access to the Metaspace Application Programming Interfaces, developer tools, and documentation. By using the API Platform, you agree to these API Terms in addition to the Metaspace Terms of Service.

2. Access & Authentication

Access requires a valid API key from the Metaspace developer portal. You are responsible for securing API keys — do not expose them in client-side code or public repositories. Lost or compromised keys must be revoked immediately.

3. Usage Limits & Rate Limiting

API usage is subject to rate limits based on your plan tier: Free (1,000 req/day, 60 req/min), Growth (50,000 req/day, 500 req/min), Enterprise (custom per Order Form). Persistent rate limit abuse may result in suspension.

4. Data Handling

By default, API inputs and outputs are not used to train Space Marvel AI models. API logs are retained for 30 days for debugging and billing, then permanently deleted. Enterprise customers may request dedicated inference infrastructure.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not: build competing foundation models using API outputs, circumvent safety filters, resell API access without a reseller agreement, generate content violating the Acceptable Use Policy, or automate scraping of non-API platform surfaces.

6. Intellectual Property & Termination

You retain ownership of inputs. AI-generated outputs may be used by you for lawful purposes. Space Marvel AI retains all rights to underlying models and APIs. We may suspend or terminate API access at any time with advance notice where practicable.
